And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things (VANITY) which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing. I Samuel 12.21

But many people who think they know more than God (who spoke the text above through the prophet Samuel), say that through vanity will resolve low self-esteem and earn the respect they always dreamed of having.

Vanity means the characteristic of what is vain. Does not even the name serve as a clue anymore?

But go by what you think, it was like that with Lucifer ... he started having opinions.

God is not vain, and note that His creation thrills us! If He is not vain, why would His children be?
