Evil traps
Not everyone who had the faith to give great testimonies, had the faith to watch and escape from the snare ...
"Fear and the pit and the snare Are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth. And it shall be That he who flees from the noise of the fear Shall fall into the pit, And he who comes up from the midst of the pit Shall be caught in the snare..." (Isaiah 24:17-18 )
Many by faith fled from fear, rose from the pit, but faith was not enough to free them from the snare. In that case, for us not to be caught in the snare, vigilance is also necessary. However, not everyone who had the faith to give great testimonies, had the faith to watch and escape from the snare.
Many who were once known for the greatness of their faith, for overcoming problems that bring fear to anyone, family and financial problems, overcame addictions,incurable diseases and even rose from the pit, but lacked faith to watch over a friendship, a flirt, a feeling, a desire, a compliment, and were snared.
We only escape from the snare by watching 24/7.
